Terms of engagement

Who we are
Gateway Stack Hub provides independent audits of education applications: university, scholarship, school-transfer, postgraduate, institutional sample reviews, and document-pack completeness checks. We are a professional reading service. We are not a school, university, agent, or placement office.
The work
When you book a reading, you ask us to review documents you supply and to return written findings. Unless a confirmation email says otherwise, we do not draft personal statements, complete online portals, contact institutions, sit tests, or attend interviews. Advice in a report is professional opinion about the file in front of us. It is not a prediction of an offer, an award, or a school place.
Booking and confirmation
A request sent through this website is an enquiry, not a contract. A contract starts when we send a written confirmation that names the service, the fee, the documents we need, and the target return date. If those documents do not arrive, we may pause the calendar until they do, or cancel as described in the refund note.
Your responsibilities
- You warrant that you have the right to share the file, including a student’s papers where you are a parent or guardian, or anonymised samples where you commission an institutional review.
- You remain responsible for the truth of the application and for every submission to a school, university, or award body.
- You must not present our findings as an institutional endorsement, nor copy our report into an application as if it were the student’s work.
Fees
Fees on service pages are starting points for a typical file. The fee that applies is the one in the confirmation. Prices are in Malaysian ringgit and are informational on this site. We do not collect payment through the website. Invoices are issued by email or at the office. Work starts when the agreed deposit or full fee has been received, as stated in the confirmation.
Turnaround
Working days are Tuesday to Saturday, excluding Malaysian public holidays. A return date is a target, not a guarantee of an admissions outcome. If we will miss the target, we will say so as soon as we know.
Follow-up call
Where a service includes a clarification call, it must be used within fourteen days of the report being sent, unless we agree another window in writing. Unused time is not credited to a later booking.
Intellectual property
You keep the copyright in your drafts. We keep the copyright in the findings report. You may use the report to revise your own application. You may not publish it, resell it, or use it as a template for other families’ files.
Confidentiality
We treat student files as confidential. Institutional reviews are confidential to the commissioning organisation. We may keep anonymised working notes for quality, as described in the privacy note.
Limitation
We are not liable for an unsuccessful application, a missed institutional deadline that was already shorter than our stated turnaround, or decisions made by schools, universities, or award bodies. Our liability for a booking is limited to the fee paid for that booking, except where Malaysian law does not allow that limit.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The courts of Kuala Lumpur have jurisdiction, without limiting any consumer rights that cannot be waived.
