The desk
Gateway Stack Hub exists because counselling desks and tuition centres are paid to move students forward. We are paid to stop a file that is not ready. The office is a shophouse unit at 18B Jalan Bunga TG 9B. We do not run a placement list, and we do not take a cut from any school or university.
The first audits were informal readings for families who already had a draft from a centre and wanted someone who would not sell them another package. The pattern was familiar: a fluent statement, a thin referee letter, and an activity list that could not be witnessed. We kept the work to written findings so the next draft still belonged to the student.
We still work that way. A file arrives as PDFs or as a folder on the table. One of us reads it against the destination’s published requirements and against itself. The report names gaps, overclaims, and the order of repair. We will sit with you afterwards to explain a mark. We will not open a blank page and write the essay.
If you need a full application written from scratch, a guaranteed offer, or someone to telephone a university, we will decline. If a deadline is inside three working days and the pack is still incomplete, we will say so rather than pretend a useful audit can be done overnight.
Each file is assigned to one reader. Institutional reviews are scoped separately and stay confidential to the commissioning school or centre.
Lead application reader
Reads undergraduate and scholarship files. Previously prepared student packs inside a Klang Valley pre-university college, and now works only as an outside reader so the report is not tied to a placement target.
Postgraduate and research files
Reviews master’s and doctoral applications, with particular attention to proposal feasibility and supervisor fit. Works from the Taman Putra desk on Tuesdays and Fridays.
School transfers and document packs
Checks school applications and clerical packs: reports, translations, naming, and the letters offices still expect on paper. Holds the completeness checklist used in shorter reviews.
